Business Overview:
The U.S. Talent Acquisition function consists of a combination of in-house recruiters. The team covers experienced hire recruitment, internal mobility and campus recruitment & development. This role supports Corporate and Group Functions, Front Office Functions (including Global Markets and Global Banking) and reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Americas.

Recruitment Strategy:
• Identify and assess the talent needs of the business lines and functions within the region.
• The Head of TA works closely with HR Business Partners to understand skill set gaps and needs, areas of growth or divestiture and the competitive landscape for talent within each Business Line/Function.
• Set the overall Talent Sourcing strategy for the region including the use of Diversity Partnerships, Referral programs, Campus programs and Agencies.
• Set the policies and procedures related to diversity guidelines for every open role for each country within the region, following that country's local laws, regulations, and practices. Ensure each recruiter has specific diversity goals.
• Set all TA Policy and Operating Procedures.
• The Head of TA Americas is responsible for the end-to-end design of the operational procedures and the control environment within TA.
• The Head of TA is also responsible for the results of internal and external Audits.
• Responsible for implementing market best practices and best-in-class techniques for screening, interviewing and for creating a world class candidate experience.
• Establish, monitor and report KPIs and KRIs for TA.
• Adjust operating model as necessary based on early warning signs of these metrics. People Management:
• Actively manage and support the career growth and development of all members of the TA team.
• This includes providing regular and actionable feedback based on SMART objectives.
• Define career and title paths for the roles within the TA team.
• Communicate TA strategy and progress updates regularly.
• Create a collaborative /speak up culture with the TA team.
• Contribute to a collaborative and solutions-oriented culture within HR and across the firm generally.
• Set the proper 'tone at the top' based on the firm's values: Highest standard of integrity, ethics, and conduct. Stakeholder Management:
• Act in an advisory capacity to the Business Line and Functions (best practices, market trends, etc.)
• Work collaboratively with all stakeholders including HR business partners, HR Rewards, Heads of Business Lines and Functions as well as Global CHROs of Business Lines and Functions within the BNP Paribas network.
• Work with HRBPs and Heads of Business Lines and Functions to create solutions for Talent Acquisition challenges raised to you by the business or your recruiters.
• Work in close collaboration with the Excellence Center in charge of TA operations; define common procedures, standards and performance expectations and metrics.
• Provide senior management metrics and KPIs to monitor talent acquisition success, adherence to diversity guidelines, and the cost to hire.
• Function as the senior escalation point for the recruiters. Minimum Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10 years relevant recruitment industry experience; preferably within Investment Banking.
• Bachelor degree in Administration, Human Resources or equivalent.
• Strong people manager with a proven ability to communicate effectively and lead the team through change.
• Ability to:
• Implement and sustain a continuous improvement culture to create efficiencies, improve service to clients and candidates and to reduce risk. Experience in Operational Design is a plus.

• Knowledge of Institutional Banking business lines is a plus.
• Given most of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply.

• Functional Manager: Head of Talent Acquisition Americas The expected starting salary range for this position is between $200,000 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
